For this project, PRL Tecnosoft developed and built a new advanced packaging line designed to support an important packaging evolution and make a concrete contribution to reducing overpackaging. The software was developed in collaboration with R4P, which contributed to the implementation of the Advanced Multi Belt system.

The plant integrates technological solutions designed to guarantee high performance and maximum reliability:

• Advance Multi Belt system for creating banded multipacks.
• Zero Shock Processing technology, with on-the-fly product insertion at constant speed for extremely gentle and efficient handling.
• Multipack creation with label application on the right side, left side, or both sides, according to customer needs.
• Walk-in structure, designed to facilitate inspection and maintenance activities, improving accessibility and intervention times.

This design choice supports the introduction of a new packaging format that, compared with the traditional large bag, reduces plastic use by up to 40%, significantly reducing packaging waste without changing the product portion or consumption experience.

A concrete example of how plant innovation can contribute not only to production efficiency but also to a more responsible use of resources.
